InnerShell was born out of its founder’s most important role—being a mom to her son, diagnosed with autism at just 2 years old. She watched him navigate big feelings without always having an easy outlet, and she understood firsthand how hard it can be for parents to find resources that truly meet their child’s needs. Despite searching for tools that were both calming for kids and supportive for families, she came up empty.
Now, with her son at 6 years old and years of navigating his big emotions, she felt called to do more—not just for him, but for other families on the same journey. That’s why she created InnerShell. Guided by Zane the Turtle, named after her son, children can explore sensory-friendly activities that help them reset, find calm, and grow emotionally at their own pace.
